Wine and Port

So I have gotten a new hobbie that I indulge in from time to time. It's been going on for about a week now but I'm enamored with eating a nice port (cheese) and red wine. Luckily for me the local grocery store has a massive collection of both.

My normal routine so far is to try a different cheese with a different wine each time I get a new one. Last friday it was a nice and flavorful French goat cheese with a Peruvian Chianti.

It's an interesting combination and if I dwelled on it for longer than a few minutes I probably wouldn't want to put the two together but damn if it don't taste good....
